Athletes can generate additional revenue by selling merchandise, autograph sessions, seminars, etc.  Personally, I'm not interested in buying shirts or autographs, but I am a fan and want to do more to support athletes.  I thought of the concept of giving a bonus or tipping an athlete, but I wanted to create a platform where the athlete could do it in an efficient way.  

Here is how BoonHound works and is able to grow the business to support more athletes.  On your athlete profile page, you will have preset tip amounts ($5, $10, $20, $50).  Regardless of the donation size, BoonHound will keep $1 per transaction from the athlete.  Example:  $20 donation = $1 to BoonHound, $19 to the athlete.  

In addition to supporting athletes, we're supporting local charities as well.  My family has participated in numerous food distribution events as well as donating money to other causes.  We will donate 25% of our profits to local charities.  Once BoonHound has grown, we're aiming to raise this number to 50%.
